We offer a spotlight program open to all ages that ends the year with a production and award ceremony.
The basic principals of theater is introduced. Theater games,prop box activities, memory tricks and improvisational skits are used to develop the students stage presence and acting ability.
Children take part in mock skits, writing classes, emotion classes and character development classes throughout the year.
Monologues and Pandomime is introduced to the more developed actor/actress. Actor/actress will also learn how to project their voices and take part in emotion exercises using one word and work on stage direction .Students will also develop orginal scripts and have the opportunity to direct other students in them
Set design and costume design is also offered in this course.
Our theater program is done in a group setting with a large variety of ages. We do offer private instruction per request.
