Most of TTPAC dance programs are recreational and our goal is to provide the students with a fun filled relaxed atmosphere. TTPAC does have a small competitve program for students who like to compete. These students are chosen by a formal audition with the artistic director and are expected to attend ALL company pratices, events, competitions and camps.
Creative movement class- Children between the ages of 2-4 years old may enroll in this class. Using props, silly movement songs and the basic ballet steps the instructor will introduce the art of dance.
Mini Combo - (Ages 4- 6)This is a beginner level class that consists of 30 minute intervals in 2 different styles of dance. The students will learn all of the basic steps and language of dance. They will learn to travel across the floor and basic combinations.(Ballet, tap)
Pre Jr combo- (Ages 7--9) Children who enroll should have at least 2 years of dance experince.This is a split class that will focus on techniques, stretching,flexibility and the dancers will learn how to add style to their dancing.(Ballet, tap)
Jr Jazz, Ballet and Tap, Acro classes- (Ages 10- 12)Students will focus on refining their movement,body positioning, facial expressions, steps and rhythms and being a performer.(Inquire for schedule and rates)
Jr Advanced Jazz, Ballet, Tap , Acro classes- ( Ages 12-14 )- Dancers at this level should have 5 years dance experince. Please inquire with the artistic director for more information
Sr Jazz, Ballet, Tap , Acro Classes- ( Ages 13-18) Please inquire with Artisic Director
Hip Hop- The instructor teaches the students the basic hip hop steps and combinations. Partner stunts and facial expressions will be introduced; students will learn how to move to the music.
Advanced Technique Class- This class runs once a week and is offered to children by the discretion of the director. Students in this class work on their turns, leaps, jumps and stretching.
